Every woman deserves to have a healthy pelvic floor that functions well.
Our osteopaths Deborah Tassi and Aleksandra Zegalski will explain how the pelvic floor functions; how it
works in conjunction with the abdominal muscles and the other muscles of your pelvis to stabilize your
spine, as well as how it supports your organs and the physiology linked with it.
We will discuss muscle imbalances, and how these imbalances can contribute to pelvic floor dysfunction,
and we will focus on conditions such as endometriosis, vulvodynia and incontinence, and give you practical
advice, intro to exercises and self care tips to help you get back on track.
At the end of the workshop you will gain:
Notions of anatomy and physiology on the pelvic floor
Notions of pelvic dysfunctions and conditions
How osteopathy can help pelvic dysfunction
What you can do to improve your pelvic awareness and health
Basic exercises to work on the pelvic floor
This workshop is great for you if you simply want to become more aware of and learn more about your
pelvic floor, or if you are trying to heal certain pelvic floor dysfunctions.
