Menstruation and Menopause – learn to recognize the signals
Menstruation and Menopause – learn to recognize the signals
My menstrual cycle and menopause: how to manage symptoms and detect signals
ARE YOU OR DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO…
Experiencing strange and unexplained symptoms such as “frozen shoulder” for no reason
Experiencing painful menstruation
Are you unsure about what to do about the symptoms and how to alleviate them?
Have severe PMS symptoms, headaches and/or migraines, and stomach cramps
Unfortunately, we learn far too little about our menstrual cycle and how to manage the hormones that are essential for our normal functioning in school. Even doctors don’t always give you enough information about which symptoms are normal and which are not. You can end up going from one specialist to another without anyone being able to explain it. If you are a woman in your 30s and suddenly experience, for example, shoulder pain without any injury, it could be the first sign of declining estrogen.
Our osteopath Aleksandra Zegalski will explain how your menstrual cycle works and how you can minimize the symptoms associated with it. She will also teach you about early signs of menopause and give you strategies to get through it as smoothly as possible.
At the end of the workshop you will:
Know your body symptoms better
Learn about the menstrual cycle and how you can support the different phases
Learn successful strategies to help the body smoothly move through the different phases
Discover how osteopathy can help the body deal with the stress that menstruation and menopause can bring
