Every woman deserves a healthy pelvic floor that functions optimally.
Our osteopaths Deborah Tassi and Aleksandra Zegalski will explain how the pelvic floor works; how it works with the abdominal muscles and other muscles in the pelvis to stabilize the spine, and how it supports the organs and physiology associated with it. We will talk about muscular imbalances and how these can contribute to pelvic floor dysfunction. We will also focus on conditions such as endometriosis, vulvodynia and incontinence – and give you practical advice, an introduction to exercises and self-care tips to get you started.
At the end of the workshop you will have:
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the pelvic floor
Knowledge about pelvic floor dysfunctions and conditions
Insight into how osteopathy can help with pelvic floor problems
Advice on what you can do yourself to improve your pelvic awareness and health
Basic exercises to strengthen and work the pelvic floor
This workshop is perfect for you if you want to become more aware of and learn more about your pelvic floor – or if you are working on healing specific pelvic floor dysfunctions.
